They are the same!

This is an announcement: I am not crazy. The melody in the Gorillaz's "Feel Good Inc." is almost identical to the part in No Doubt's "Comforting Lie" where she sings "I am Jekyll I am Hyde." And you know who came first? No Doubt. I wonder if it's a small enough similarity to be legal. (The part about not being crazy is where my roommate didn't believe me while I searched frantically, remembered the tune, but not the lyrics.)

Choke on your lies.

Not about the music. The other stuff.

Eh, that kind of thing happens all the time. The town song in FFVI is really similar to the primary song "Dare to Do Right". It probably isn't on purpose . . . I once wrote a song I really liked, and then I realized it had the exact same chord progression as "Greensleeves" . . .

yeah, this happens all the time. There are even standard chord progressions people will follow when they write music (ex. blues) There are so many song writers and only eight notes in an octave. The probability is high. It's most annoying when the melody line matches though...
